ASPN Labs · Medical Weight Loss
Medical weight loss that's built around you, not a dose chart
Clinician-guided GLP-1 treatment is one tool. The plan around it is the point: labs, nutrition, strength training, sleep and ongoing support, all tuned to your biology and your life.
Takes about 5 minutes. A licensed clinician reviews your answers before any prescription is issued. You are only charged if you are approved.

Why ASPN
The ASPN difference
Individualized, not templated
Your protocol is built from your history, labs and goals, and it changes when your data does.
Labs and data guided
Baseline metabolic and hormone labs help your team see what is driving weight gain for you, and follow-up labs show how you are responding.
Coaching beyond the prescription, with membership
ASPN members can add guidance across nutrition, exercise, sleep and lifestyle. Coaching depends on your membership tier and is not part of the prescription-only path.
Concierge support, by tier
Check-ins and messaging between visits are available to members, depending on tier. Every patient has access to clinician review for their prescription.

Coaching and support services depend on your ASPN membership and tier. A prescription-only path without coaching is also available.
Process
How it works
Share your story and your data.
Complete a private questionnaire. We may also recommend labs and, if you use one, your wearable data.
A licensed clinician reviews.
A clinician reviews your information and decides whether any prescription treatment is appropriate for you. Not everyone qualifies, and some people are best served by lifestyle guidance alone.
Get your individualized protocol.
Your plan may include prescription treatment, only if prescribed. If you are an ASPN member, it can also include coaching on nutrition, exercise and lifestyle, depending on your tier. Prescriptions are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy and shipped to you. You are charged only if approved and treatment is dispensed.
Stay supported and adjust.
Your clinician reviews your treatment as needed. Members, depending on tier, also get regular check-ins and data reviews to keep the protocol current.

Everything you need to know
Who this is for
- Adults who have struggled to lose weight with diet and exercise alone
- People who want a medical, clinician-supervised approach
- Anyone who prefers a plan that adjusts based on labs, progress and side effects
Start with your data
Want to start with data? ASPN offers lab testing you can order on its own, including the ASPN Hormone Optimization Test and the ASPN Ultimate Health Panel. Your clinician may recommend labs before or alongside treatment.
Where medication may fit
If a clinician determines treatment is appropriate, options may include the following. Your clinician selects the medication, form and dose for you.
Compounded semaglutide
A weekly GLP-1 medication. Available as an injectable and, in some cases, as a sublingual (under the tongue) option for people who prefer to avoid needles. Some formulations include added ingredients such as glycine or niacinamide.
Compounded tirzepatide
A weekly dual-pathway (GIP and GLP-1) medication given by injection, with dose titration managed by your clinician. Some formulations include added ingredients such as glycine or niacinamide.
Oral and combination options
Where appropriate, your clinician may consider oral semaglutide formulations, including combinations with metformin.
Metabolic and lab support
Optional baseline and follow-up labs, nutrition guidance and wearable-based tracking so your plan reflects what your body is doing, not just the scale.
What a member protocol may include beyond medication
- Protein, fiber and meal-structure guidance matched to your appetite and your day
- Strength-training and daily-movement targets so you protect lean muscle while you lose fat
- Sleep, stress and habit coaching, because they move the scale too
- Regular data reviews (labs, wearable trends, check-ins) so the plan adjusts as you change
Coaching and lifestyle guidance supports your overall health and does not replace medical care. Prescriptions are issued only by a licensed clinician.
Coaching and support services depend on your ASPN membership and tier. A prescription-only path without coaching is also available.
What to expect
- Most people start at a low dose and increase gradually over several weeks to help manage side effects.
- Common side effects can include nausea, constipation, diarrhea and reduced appetite. Your care team helps you manage them.
- Your plan is reviewed regularly. Doses, medications or nutrition guidance may change based on your progress and how you feel.
- Medication works best alongside nutrition, protein intake, strength training and sleep. We help with the plan, not just the prescription.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a typical online prescription service?
At ASPN Labs, medication, when appropriate, is one part of an individualized protocol. ASPN members can add labs-guided planning and coaching on nutrition, exercise, sleep and lifestyle, with ongoing support from their care team. Which services you receive depends on your membership and tier. Whether a prescription is appropriate is always decided by a licensed clinician.
Do I get coaching if I only want the prescription?
Not automatically. Coaching and support services depend on membership and tier. You can go through the prescription flow without a membership, and in that case the medication-only path applies, with clinician review but without coaching.
Will I qualify?
Eligibility is decided by a licensed clinician after reviewing your health information. Not everyone qualifies.
Are these the same as brand-name medications?
No. ASPN Labs works with a licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not the same as brand-name products. Your clinician will explain the differences.
Do I have to use needles?
Not always. Some needle-free options exist, and your clinician will tell you what fits your situation.
How fast will I see results?
It varies. Many people notice appetite changes in the first weeks, but results differ from person to person and are not guaranteed.
What if I am not approved?
You are not charged. Your card is only charged if you are approved and treatment is dispensed.

Next step
Ready to build your protocol?
Prescription treatment is available only if a licensed clinician determines it is appropriate for you after reviewing your health history. Not everyone will qualify. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy; they are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality. Individual results vary and no outcome is guaranteed. This page is for educational purposes and is not medical advice. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
